Q: Can you hold a place before I apply?
A: No. We cannot hold a place before a renter apply's for the unit. However, once a renter passes our application process we can hold a vacant unit, up to a month in advance and an occupied unit up to 8 months in advance.

Q: Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
A: No. Security deposits are not used for rent payments.

Q: How old do you have to be to apply?
A: An applicant must be 18 years of age, to apply for a lease.

Q: Is the deposit refundable?
A: Yes, security deposits are refundable.

Q: Who needs a cosigner?
A: Any applicant who cannot pass our application process, due to credit, financial, history, or rental history, will need a cosigner/ guarantor who can pass our application process.

Q: You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
A: Find the property on Meadows Rentals Property Management and click on the link labeled "apply online".

Q: How do I pay rent?
A: We have ways tenants can pay rent. Tenants can pay online via ACH/ Bank account & credit card payments, or cash or check at Walmart or HEB.

Q: I want to get a pet. What do I do?
A: Request to get a pet in writing. Once confirmed, submit a pet addendum, additional deposit (according to landlord). Pet fee, and the pet must not be an aggressive based as listed on our tenant policy & procedure tab located on our website www.meadowsrentals.com

Q: I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
A: Contact our office and request a tenant change, in writing. We can assist you in request.

Q: My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
A: Access your tenant portal, click on the "my rentals" tab, click on the "give notice" button, and fill out the 30 second form.

Q: Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
A: Repairs & maintenance requests are charged to the responsible parties. If the repair or maintenance is due to the tenant fault, the tenant pays. If due to the fault of the landlord/owner, such as broken pipe in the wall or foundation, or roof leak due to age or weather related, the owner is charged.
